Our Story

Founded in 2001, The Barton Heights Youth Organization was established to provide meaningful opportunities for children and teens living in Richmond's Northside communities.

Our mission is to empower young people by providing emotional, academic, athletic, and social support through programs that encourage personal growth, leadership, and community involvement.

For more than two decades, we've worked to ensure every child has access to positive role models, educational resources, recreational activities, and experiences that help prepare them for lifelong success.
